People’s Place has become so much more to me than a really incredible thrift store. Every single person that works or volunteers I hold in the highest regard. You instantly feel the genuine kindness when you enter the doors. It feels like you’re shopping with your best friends. Often, while waiting in line to check out, I’ve noticed the kindness has become contagious. There is chatting and laughter among strangers. Yes the finds are always fantastic, but I can’t even begin to explain how uplifting and happy it makes me feel just to be in the presence of the true goodness all around because of the people who make this place so special. If you live locally and you have never been don’t walk, run and then tell every one of your friends.
