5 /5 Susan W: Yesterday I encountered a treasure trove of timeless style!
Stepping into Finn and Buffy isnt just a shopping trip—its an experience. Nestled in the Market Arcade on Main Street, this vintage men’s shop is a true cabinet of curiosities, a place where every item tells a story. The on-point curation is immediately apparent; it’s not just a collection of old clothes, but a carefully selected wardrobe of timeless elegance. From a perfectly worn leather jacket that whispers of cross-country road trips to impeccably tailored prep school tweed blazers once spotted at the Country Club’s autumn mixer, each piece feels as though it was hand-picked just for you.
The charming decor elevates the entire space, with antique furnishings and unique ephemera creating an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming. Its a place you want to linger in, to browse slowly and appreciate the craftsmanship of a bygone era. The quality of the clothing is excellent, a stark contrast to the disposable fashion of today. Here, you find items built to last, with sturdy fabrics, solid stitching, and classic cuts that defy trends. While it caters to men, don’t let this stop you, ladies … there are beautiful candles, glassware, and a few incredible wool Pendleton skirts.
The true heart of the shop, however, is the passion of its owner Tom. After I spent time admiring the collection and chatting about the shops wonderful aesthetic, he surprised me with a kind and unexpected gesture, gifting me a copy of True Prep. It was the perfect book to accompany the feeling of effortless, classic style the store embodies. This is more than a store; it’s a destination for anyone who appreciates quality, history, and a touch of sartorial magic. I can’t wait to go back!
