L.L.Bean - Shop NY (Near Albany)

5 /5 K Ryan: We went all over today looking for a nice pair of pants for my picky partner. I feel so silly that this is the last place we looked. We found not one but three styles that my partner actually liked, and I can tell they’re well made and will hold up a long time. Great customer service, Arafat in particular was really patient and helpful :)

5 /5 NY Tech: Made a trip specifically to the Colonie Center Retail Store in Albany, NY to buy some Mens Wicked Good Max Slippers! I wanted to try them on, since slippers may not be true to size (they were not!), and peruse other departments as well. Immediately went to footwear, where a very helpful associate (ugghh, horrible with names!) showed me the selection available. Turns out the Wicked Good Max Slippers were on sale / on clearance, so my lucky day! The L.L. Bean brand is a very hearty shoe pick regardless of the selection. The slippers ran small - I wear a 9.5-10, and I left with a size 11 in "CarbnNvy/Blk" or Black and Blue in laymans terms! My L.L.Bean Guide last evening was Joyann. She was a delight; very courteous, professional, and an asset to this organization no doubt! She asked for my phone number, but turns out that is part of the process in the event you need to return an item. Also worth mentioning was the bargain I received on a lovely handled bag for my purchase, which cost $0.05. Turns out Joyann wasnt just being nice to me, she said anyone could get that bargain! All in all a very positive shopping experience. I highly recommend this location as well as the L.L. Bean brands. Will be visiting again soon!

5 /5 Nick Saulpaugh: I came in for a shirt and left with a whole run down of the new backpacks I should get. Nate helped my father and I measure our torsos naturally and was funny. Nicest and most helpful I’ve spoke with at any store in a long time. I bought a cool pullover. I told him I already owned a pack and he went through the process all the same so I’d be comfy w/ my original pack. 10/10 will be back.

Misplaced my charge card, wanted to place an order using a promotion that was expiring, representative suggested putting order on “hold” while replacement card was being shipped, so as not to lose the promotion. Received card, called, smooth process placing order. Everyone I spoke to, professional, helpful and friendly! Kudos! Excellent customer service!

4 /5 Dain Vossar (Galaxy Wanderer): To L.L. Bean, I ventured. Seeking Hoka Bhodi or Clifton, in size 14, I was. Found, they were not—only to 13, the stock did go. Offered to order, the kind staff did, but time, my ally, was not. Traveling, I was. Waiting, I could not. Disappointed? No. For strong in the Force, this store remains. An outdoor lifestyle haven, it is. Clothing of quality, gear for hiking and camping—prepared for any adventure, one shall be. Friendly, the staff are. Knowledgeable, helpful. A Jedi’s path through the wilderness, well-equipped here, it shall be. Return, I will.
