1 /5 Victoria: I had a very disappointing experience due to the manager/owner, Manny, and his lack of basic customer service. My friend was interested in purchasing a hoodie but noticed the design on one was peeling. She found another identical hoodie in the same size that was in good condition, but it was priced $5 higher than the others on the rack.
When she calmly asked about the price difference at checkout, Manny immediately responded with an attitude and simply repeated that the higher price was correct. A sales associate even explained that the lower price may have been due to the peeling issue, yet Manny continued to be dismissive and rude. The women helping us were much nicer and helpful. When she pointed out that identical hoodies were clearly marked for less, she was told they were “marked wrong” and that the higher price would not be honored.
In retail, pricing errors are the store’s responsibility, not the customer’s, and it’s standard practice to honor the lower posted price. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, Manny told her to “just get one marked lower,” despite knowing those were either damaged or the wrong size. When she declined, he shrugged it off entirely.
This was an unacceptable way for an owner to treat a customer. We left without making a purchase and will not be returning.
