5 /5 Vincent Esposito: Finally found myself in Buffalo after reading about O’Connell’s years ago on a traditional/ivy style menswear blog and I my expectations were blown away. The sales staff is friendly, helpful and anything but pushy. I left with their iconic heavyweight OCBD, a buffalo print tie and some italian wool socks, but I could have easily found 20+ other things that I would have taken home. Will definitely keep these guys on my list of places to return to, I’m glad stores like this still exist.

Online purchases are very tricky yet Ethan gave me excellent advice on the different garments in which I was interested. I exchanged several items due to sizing issues and me not taking Ethans advice. A very knowledgeable salesman and a couple grand later taught me much about dress clothing, fit and quality. It’s not only very classy but the items have depth of selection and a salesman with encyclopedic options available. I even bought a suit, the first in fifty years.

5 /5 Alex Romano: Stopped in with my boyfriend for him to take a look. We had a lot of fun. It’s a family business, open since 1959. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, with great customer service. Pricy, but that comes along with the great quality they offer.
