1 /5 Marisa Finkelberg: I will not be shopping here or utilizing the donation/buying process here; I will also be advocating for others not to donate/shop here in efforts for it to go out of business. While the store indicates that it accepts buys/donations all day -- they falsely advertise and do not. They also pick and chose who they will accept donations from (i.e. I was refused and then the person who went in after me as I sat and watched was able to drop off their bin). The store staff are extremely uncooperative and rude. I asked for the corporate number, and I was told "I dont have it." When I further inquired "you dont want to give it to me or you dont have it" they provided me a number not in service. I called back and addressed this with them in which I asked for the owner to give me a call back at which point Im sure they would have it since they had to talk to someone to get the store opened....only then was I provided with the number. I am still waiting on that call back. While they offered me to drop off the bin by the time I got home -- I wasnt coming back NOR was I going to trust that they would give me the actual value of the item. Id rather go elsewhere than deal with this store which is now completely uncomfortable to shop in. They claim they are short staffed -- not my issue; hire more people or simply stay later to get the work done. People seem allergic to hard work. Hoping a better store fills this space.

1 /5 S W: Went in to sell my clothes that are good quality in my opinion. A lot of large and X-large ones. Many Hot Topic brands. Came from 30 minutes away and early in the morning before they opened. I had to leave the bin there, wait and come back. A two hour drive all together and it’s the closets one to me. Came back to pick up and only got 8 dollars. I had skirts, jeans, shirts, and many things that I know people would kill to get for a cheap price. All they took was one pair of plan blue jeans and all the sunglasses. Once again only got 8 dollars for 8 things. I understand the sunglasses but I feel I should have gotten a little more for the pair of jeans. Didn’t have enough money to make up for gas or for buying a tote. I would not sell here again.

5 /5 Daniela Ciappetta: Great experience coming here! It was my first time visiting the store everything was organized by size and color which I really appreciated. I found brand new pjs for $10, Levis jeans for $15 and so many more awesome finds. Great selection for winter and workout clothes. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly. Don’t let the angry sellers scare you away from visiting this place. I will be back to sell and shop!

1 /5 Jodi Cosman: I tried for awhile to give this location the benefit of the doubt since they are new. Unfortunately, every single time I have come in the store is a mess, sizes are all mixed together, and the racks are so packed that its almost impossible to look through the racks comfortably. Its also extremely disappointing that you have to wake up at the crack of dawn and line up BEFORE the store opens in hope that they will take your clothing to buy. Overall, save your time and sanity and drive to Danbury.

5 /5 AngiebeautyXo: I’ve had amazing experiences with this Plato’s closet. Their buy and sell program is amazing . To funnel money back into the pockets of visitors and residents of Dutchess county while supply the area with affordable sustainable clothing is a win win for all! Their clothing selection is amazing. They’re putting out tons of great inventory daily and they buy most items from their sellers during the appropriate seasons. This is truly a place for everyone to go buy, sell and support . I have been going here since before they opened and have been able to see what this store has done for the community . Every morning there is a line an hour before shop opens with eager sellers which says a lot of what this store means to people. Great staff and owner , for this high demanding store and fast pace environment they’ve been doing an amazing job at keeping up with the community demands the last 8 months since grand opening .
