Polkadots Consignment Shop - (Near Guilderland, NY)

5 /5 JA: The quality and price is right at this lovely consignment shop that reads like a boutique rather than a store filled with 2nd hand clothes. The selection wasnt overly large but every single item was in excellent condition. Also the prices were fantastic and the sales, also. I purchased a lovely work dress for 2$ on the sale rack. They also had a nice selection of costume jewelry, some childrens clothes, as well as a few toys and books. I will definitely be heading back to Polkadots Consignment especially as I was told there will be a new section in the store for vintage clothes opening soon.

5 /5 I don’t know: Found Polka Dots while in the area and searching for consignment/vintage shops. I absolutely loved my shopping experience. Great pieces and great prices. Did I love everything clothing article in the store? Of course not, but that is personal preference. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I have been planning to return but I do live 1 1/2 hours away and although I am in Albany at least once a week, ( if not more) the timing is never right. I am excited to say I will be in tomorrow! One negative review seemed upset about not having items accepted for consignment so they put down the clothing being sold and complained about the music. I am an extreme fashion person. High end, Haute Couture, vintage and current( nothing covered in designer logos though) with inexpensive pieces mixed in and I was impressed with the stock here. As I said I am really looking forward to my return visit and hope I get some great finds.

5 /5 mr. nobody: Our family has been getting clothes from Polkadots Consignment Shop for years, and it’s always such a great experience. We’ve found so many beautiful and affordable things for our daughter, and the quality never disappoints. The team is friendly, honest, and clearly cares about their customers and community. It’s rare to find a shop that combines great finds with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

1 /5 Frances: I like consignment shopping a lot, but this shop is not one of the best places in the area. As a shopper: I came several times to shop with friends for grandchildren, but my friends and I were disappointed in the selection, sizes available, and the high prices. In addition, the Staff were not welcoming or even helpful. They seem preoccupied. As a consignor: Consigned an expensive designer childs dress that had a lovely sash that was an integral part of the dress design. Later, I was told the dress did not sell because the "sash was lost." It would have been nice to have heard, "I am sorry, but we cant control theft." No, just heres your dress back as owner(?) quickly walked away. Rude.

1 /5 Madison meyer: The store is cute, but if you are around the age of 17-25 I would choose somewhere else to sell. I booked an appointment, cleaned all my clothes and they wouldn’t look through my stuff. Said it “wasn’t their style” however I shop in the woman’s section and mostly everything was jeans (not happy or feel seen by this store!)
