Platos Closet - Ithaca
Olive Woo I was trying to describe Platos closet to someone who had never heard of this store. The conversation goes like this: " Look what I got at Platos closet." (Those are really nice. How much did you pay for those?) "$14 or $16." (What size are those?) " They are my size!" (Do they have a size for me?) " No, you dont understand. Platos closet is a place where other people bring their used clothing items to be sold for cash or credit. Anything in the store is one of a kind." (Oh, thats right, you got it in Ithaca.) " It doesnt matter where you get it, the same procedure goes for every single Platos closet." Believe me. This guy was dumber than a stone. But the only thing I didnt like was that when I gave them my phone number, it didnt transfer from one store to the other. I should have used my sons number. Now I will need to keep shopping there for more fantastic items! Also, the staff was really friendly. But they always are in every location. I did however find the items to be a little bit more pricier, but Im guessing thats because of Cornell University. And I say that because the people in Ithaca do have a little bit better clothing selections.
