Boscovs - Shop PA (Near Wilkes-Barre)

5 /5 Stephen Leonard: Boscovs is a great store with excellent prices for quality items. There are some items that are priced cheaper than THRIFT stores, and are brand new. It is always very clean with the most professional staff who actually seem to take pride in working there and enjoy it. I highly recommend Boscovs for any shopping, especially gadgets, trinkets, and especially gift type items. There is an entire section of lower priced items and a Seen on TV area thats interesting as well. The parking is free, close, and safe.

5 /5 Denise Devine: The nostalgia in this store is wonderful. It reminds me of when I was a child. Clean with friendly faces and wonderful clothes, kitchen items, and knickknacks. There is metered on street parking or a free lot behind the building. Stop in, theyre sure to have something youre looking for.

5 /5 Dante Medori: It is nice to see Boscovs preserving this historic downtown department store building. The atmosphere immediately takes you back to a better time. And thats what Boscovs does; it makes old people feel young again. Boscovs has renovated this space but they have retained much of the historic charm including the original Westinghouse escalators. Elevators were modernized by Schindler, but everything else remains mostly untouched. If only Boscovs could do the same thing with the John Wanamakers building in Center City Philadelphia. They limit themselves to opening only one new store every year, why not make it two?
