I’m happy that most of my clients are grown-ups and appreciate the work that goes into my garments, rather than demanding to try on something obviously too small, and possibly ruining it. It’s not fat or body shaming to try to protect one’s work and find a size that would fit a person. Independent artists work hard and deserve support and respect.

Vera Hite DressHaute customized this dress for my main performance in the Tropicabana band - the Brazilian carnival in Pittsburgh. It was glamorous as you can see, the most praised outfit of all I wore. Everyone noticed and expressed how glourious it was.
