Taylor S My best friend and her husband moved to Killeen 3 years ago with the military. She and I are both from Georgia and we love to go antique shopping. One of my first visits to Texas, I searched for antique stores nearby and came across The Trading Post in Lampasas. We decided it looked worth our while and went to check it out. I’m so glad we did! Not only did we fall in love with The Trading Post and its friendly staff and booths full of treasures, we also fell in love with the town of Lampasas! Each time I visit, we make a day of coming to Lampasas, exploring the square, spending hours wandering around The Trading Post, and finding somewhere yummy to eat nearby. We’ve also brought many of our other friends and family to visit the store because we enjoy it so much! I love this store and I will be sad when my friends inevitably move away from the area.

Jennifer Johnson Really cute, clean, upscale shop! And the prices are unbelievable!! You can definitely afford this store! Its not one of those big rummage sale types, its more like a boutique with select items. And its so well-organized! Its definitely worth checking out. If youve got an event coming up - a job interview, a date, a wedding - your outfit is there with a price tag youll fall in love with.

Helge Jordal Visited the model train part in the back. Staff extremely nice and helpful, and the selection is very good. Only tiny minuses is the model train part isnt really a store as much as a warehouse, though that is understandable given theyre mostly an online business. The other tiny note is that there are numerous errors in the inventory, stuff that is in store but doesnt show up on their website and visa versa. That said, 100% worth a visit if youre in the area and are in to model trains.
