3 /5 Twixt D: There was an employee, I think his name was Preston? He lingered around every customer and kind of inserted himself into conversation. It was not comfortable having to keep an eye on him while I shopped and it seemed like he was following customers around. I didnt catch the name of the other employee working but she was mopping around us and was very nice and respectful of our space. I didnt catch her name but I was too focused on avoiding the other employee. I overheard some of the conversations he had with other customers, which in my opinion were VERY unprofessional topics such as politics where he loudly voiced his opinion. It feels like he was trying to relate to customers on a personal level but it didnt come across well and I could tell other customers felt the way I did by the way they were trying to walk away from him or shut down conversation. When he talked to us we were polite but we didnt intentionally try to talk to him. For example, my friend showed me an ACDC shirt and I told her I didnt really like them, but Preston had shouted from the other side of the store "whaaaaat?" trying to include himself in a conversation he wasnt welcome to. It ruined our shopping experience and I spent more time trying to avoid him than actually looking at the merchandise. I get what he was trying to do but he was really forcing the interactions. Maybe he was new and nervous? Im not sure. Other than that, I found some cute items that I was happy with and at a good price!
