1 /5 Rky: I love Loft clothes, even though unfortunately I have to order most of it online because they carry very little inventory in petites (considering the demographic, youd think theyd carry more). Nonetheless, I am a loyal, long-time Loft shopper and order online freely abd frequently, knowing I can always return items in-store for free if they dont work out. Today, I was told by one of the young associates that I could not return the Haven Well Within line of items I ordered @ Loft online. Mind you, the online Loft return policy CLEARLY states items are returnable in-store for free except for items from Swim, Brands We Love, or INTIMATES from Haven Well Within collections. None of my items fell into the free in-store-returns exceptions, and thus they are returnable in-store. I got on the phone with customer service to verify that my items could indeed be returned in store. Customer service confirmed that this store should accept my items for in-store returns. Because the associate was adamant that they were not returnable in-store because they were "a different brand", the customer-service agent waived the return-by-mail $8.95 return fee and sent me a free return label. But this did not change the fact that I lost a whole hour of my precious weekend on the phone dealing with this issue. Associates are either not trained or do not understand their own policy. This is the second bad experience Ive had in a row at this store. It shouldnt be this hard.
