1 /5 Netsanet Hopkins: I love seeking out cute boutiques and was excited when I stumbled upon this place. Compared to other boutiques, I wasn’t really impressed with their selections but wrote that off as a reflection of the owner. I still found something to buy…not because I needed it, I just wanted to support a local independent business. Well, of the ten items I purchased, I came back to return two literally one week after purchase. I was even willing to accept store credit and buy something else. Needless to say, the owner refused to work with me and stood firm on her no return policy. As the owner, she has that right. As the consumer, I also have rights. I will exercise the right to never shop there again and I will exercise the right to share my experience with the community. This is not usual and customary behavior for boutiques. I am a frequent boutique shopper and love spending money in support of them. Never again at Silver Wings for me!
