Uptown Cheapskate Denton - (Near Denton, TX)

1 /5 Victoria Zamarron: Landry was rude, and unpleasant with the looks and tone that she used on multiple occasions and while checking both me and my sister out. It was my first time visiting this store entirely, and unfortunately I dont see what all the hype is about if customer service is like that there.

1 /5 Karson Loftin: DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL CLOTHES! I brought in 4 bags of BARELY used clothes and brand new stuff. After 35 minutes of waiting they told me they could not take a single item. Because it had stains or was worn out. (Which only 1 shirt had a stain and nothing was worn out except one pair of boots) Walking around that store I saw several DIRTY shoes, dresses with holes in them, shirts with lots of loose strings, and extremely worn out pants. The sales ladies basically told me that my clothes were trash and I should go somewhere else to sell them because my clothes did not fit there “standard”. Wish I could give this place zero stars because what a waste of my time!

1 /5 Elisabeth Davenport: My husband brought my old clothes in after I cleaned out my closet. They texted and told him they were taking 30 items. He brought back a whopping $40. I probably would have told him to say nevermind had I realized how low their purchase price was. So, I asked him for the receipt of items purchased. He said Uptown told him its not their policy to give an itemized receipt and they couldnt show him what was purchased because it was already put up for inventory. I called the store when he got home and got someone who refused to give me their name because I was being aggressive when asking about the stores policies. She of course then hung up on me. It feels a bit shady, like I had been scammed. They mustve only paid out a dollar or 2 for what was brought in. I dont know how this place has good reviews. Ive brought my clothes into other locations and have never had this experience.
