1 /5 Nisa Ă–zbek: I am writing this review out of genuine frustration and disbelief at the level of product quality and customer service I experienced at Aritzia.
Last Saturday, I purchased several items from your store, trusting the brand’s reputation and pricing to reflect a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Despite never wearing the items, the fabric began pilling almost immediately. For a company that positions itself as a premium retailer, this level of quality is unacceptable. Pilling on unworn garments is not normal wear and tear. It is a clear indication of poor fabric quality.
Still, I gave the store the benefit of the doubt and returned within the clearly stated 14-day return window. Instead of a straightforward and professional return process, I was met with dismissive attitudes and visible reluctance to process the refund. The staff repeatedly inspected the unused items as if searching for a technicality to avoid honoring the return policy. It felt less like customer service and more like an attempt to discourage me from exercising my basic consumer rights.
What was most disappointing was not just the refusal to process the refund, but the tone and behavior displayed. Sighing, exchanging looks, and prolonging the process unnecessarily reflects poorly on a brand that claims to value its customers. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or embarrassed for requesting a refund within the official return period.
If Aritzia cannot stand behind its product quality or its own policies, that raises serious concerns about the company’s standards. Charging premium prices comes with the responsibility of delivering premium quality and service. In this case, neither was provided.
I did not expect to leave feeling disrespected and dismissed after spending my money at your store. This experience has significantly impacted my perception of the brand, and unless this issue is properly addressed, I will be reconsidering future purchases.
I am requesting a full refund in accordance with the stated 14-day return policy. Nothing more, nothing less.
