4 /5 Nancy: Ody made my shopping experience delightful. There was another snooty employee though who wouldnt even look at me. But Ody was great.

1 /5 Firehorse Moon: I havent shopped at Athleta for a long time, but saw some really cute new designs online. I went to Bellevue Square today and bought some things at Athleta, but wow, I havent experienced such rudeness from employees like that in years. I got major attitude for asking questions about a product and fit, even asking for a dressing room! I pretended not to notice, but will never go back there. I like the company and would give their clothing 4 stars. Unfortunately, the experience deserves no stars for that location and staff.

1 /5 Patty Hicks: I purchased two pairs of pants. Washed them before wearing and the lines from folding were still there. I went to return them and I was 4 days outside of their 30-day return policy. Im told theres nothing that can be done and asked if I have a steamer so I can steam out the lines. I told her she can trash the pants. I walked down to Nordstrom found everything I wanted. High price point and crappy return policy is not good customer service. Ive shopped Athleta for years but no more.

1 /5 Mesha Thomas: I came to the reviews to see if my experience was an isolated event or becoming the norm in the Bellevue store. Unfortunately, it seems to be the latter. I have shopped Athleta for years and am a diehard fan of their products; the quality justifies the price. However, I have never had a pleasant experience with the black lady who works there. In fact, I have either avoided her in the store or simply not entered the store altogether if shes there. Most recently, she begrudgingly enrolled me in a wellness discount program. This was around July or August. When I pointed out she had misspelled my name, she dismissed this with a wave of her hand and said, "Well you can update it next year when you have to reapply." I have not been back to that location. I have shopped at Totem Lake and U-Village and will continue to visit those locations.

1 /5 Megan Snider: I shop here regularly. NEVER AGAIN after my experience with staff and manager this morning. Apparently they had been unloading merchandise since 6 am. I worked retail for many years - Victoria’s Secret and Express. I understand the unforgiving retail grind. Because of this, they were not in the mood to open the store at 10a for customers. I had a return and was looking to shop for myself and daughter. I was treated with a annoyance and disgust when they opened the doors. I was told I needed to have empathy for how unkind THEY treated and spoke to me - the behavior and tone justified because they had been working since 6a. I was caught completely off guard. If someone would have taken a moment to clarify the situation upon entry I would have understood. Instead I was snapped at and made to feel bad for entering. I will NEVER buy from this location or Athleta again. From the last few posts, I’m not the only one who has experienced this behavior.
