My size is hard to find and they brought out numerous walking shoes that would be available to order in a larger size than they carry. Even though their special order did not result in finding a good fit, they still had a large inventory we tried in case there was another brand that would work. They are very patient and know what different brands and styles to offer for my podiatrists reccommendations. Located near a free public parking lot with handicapped parking if street parking is full, a real plus in crowded downtown Port Angeles. Has a large staff and prices comparable to those online, good return policy. Sale shoes at a good discount. Large inventory of shoes and boots for walking or sports.

5 /5 Madison Callahan: Absolutely phenomenal service. I had a trekking pole fail that I bought elsewhere and the folks at Browns (Evan specifically) went above and beyond to help. They had no obligation to help, and still put in every effort. Even though the pole was irreparable, the help they offered the best Ive ever experienced. Just today I got an email from the original manufacturer thanks to Evans work both in the store and him reaching out to LEKI while I caught my flight.

We called Browns Outdoor and spoke with Eric. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips that helped us pick the perfect spot for their first backpacking trip. 5 /5 Serena Hsi: In case you find that you forgot to pack hiking shoes for a trip to the Olympic National Park, this place has a great selection of wide toe shoes. The staff is very friendly.
