Filson - (Near Seattle, WA)

5 /5 Janet Li: Its my first time here!! This Filson store is located in downtown, so there was a security guard there on the first floor when I walked in (smart business decision). Once I got to the second floor, I was immediately greeted by a staff member. I was looking for a specific product, but they didnt have it. However, the alternative that was presented to me was even better! I hope to be able to use my new bag for at least the next 10 years (with the amount I paid). I was there for about 30 minutes and wanted to take the entire ladies section home haha!

1 /5 Irah King: My family and I have purchased Filson clothes and products for over 40 years. Their clothes are expensive, but remain good value because they are very well-made, durable and good-looking. When making a holiday purchase this year for my family members, I place a large order online and accidentally shipped it to the wrong address. There is no place to change the shipping address on the Filson website, so I called customer support less than 24 hours after my purchase and requested to change the shipping address. Although this request should seemingly be as easy as the press of a button, customer support had to "escalate" the request. I only received an email 48 hours later informing me that my request was denied because the shipping address differed from the billing address (really??!!). I immediately called Filson again and asked them to reverse this decision, only to be told that the decision cannot be reversed and it would be best to cancel the order. However, cancelling the order ALSO required my request to be "escalated". I agreed to cancel the order, but 72 hours later, I received an email telling me that my order has been shipped (to the wrong address). To fix this problem, I had to find someone at the wrong address to ship it to the correct address for me at the expense of my friends time and the cost of $40. For a company that is over 125 years old and operating in an increasingly competitive market where small requests like the change of an address should be instaneous, you would think that they would understand the importance of customer service and do their best to support their long-standing customers. Very disappointing Filson......

5 /5 Justin Kasch: Been in many times, came in this time to verify/re size some recent purchases. Guy(didnt get name) was very nice and helpful with verifying I needed to size down 1 on each item. Then they were able to do an exchange ( even tho 1 was purchased from canada on sale ) and had both other sizes in stock. Was also finally able to verify my size on mackinaws.

How is a company that has been in business for as long as filson has, and who has made tall sizes for at least a half century, decided that loyal customers are no longer valued?! Finding high quality clothing in tall sizes is already deeply challenging, and now Filson - my home town business, has decided to cut out its presence in a very under represented market.

2 /5 Daniel Levine: I want to start this review off by saying I love Filson and have an entire section of my closet dedicated to their products. I am a taller guy (64), so size wise I need the long for an accurate fit. I have been waiting FOREVER for an XL Long to pop up in their charcoal Mackinaw Wool Jacket and one finally did on their website. My order was confirmed, but after speaking with Customer Care it doesnt appear it will be fulfilled. I was also informed that they discontinued their long sizes, which is unfortunate because they are going to lose a long time customer. If you are going to discontinue sizes catered to tall guys, I feel youre going to lose a large portion of your customer base. A good alternative to that would be to start taking custom orders so that people arent cut off from purchasing your products. Ive been waiting for this jacket for years so please find a way to cater to the tall guys!
