5 /5 rockford faurot: Fantastic store!! I went in a few weeks back looking for a rain jacket, and purchased “The Freeman,” their signature jacket. They fit the jackets by chest size, and increment every 2 inches. This made it easy for me to find a jacket that was exceptionally well fitted to me. The jacket is supper lightweight, and is quite warm for it’s size. I’ve since worn it out in to the rain for extended periods of time and have remained dry. I was helped by a woman who made some of the clothing designs, she did a great job explaining the details of the apparel I was interested in, and ultimately helped me decide on my purchase. If your looking for a local look, and local product, you should definitely check this place out.

5 /5 Andrew Lee: I was really impressed with Freeman Seattle. First of all, the ladies working there were friendly and didn’t make me feel unwelcome at all. Anyways, I have known about Freeman for a while now, but never made the visit out to their brick and mortar location. I’ve been to other menswear shops and have been disappointed with the brands sold. Freeman had a very good assortment of brands like Anonymousism, Armorlux, Rancourt & Co., Red Wing, Velva Sheen, etc. Their in-house brand, Freeman, is really good quality as well. What I was really enamored with though were the felt pennants that were on the wall. They collaborated with Oxford Pennant and Invisible Creatures to recreate some vintage Seattle pennants. There were small ones and larger ones and they had different designs but all were rooted with Seattle themes. If I had the money, I would have gotten many more pennants. I hope to be back soon.

5 /5 Sonia McBride: A lovely little gem of a shop, chock-full of thoughtfully designed and locally made clothing and goods that meet the unique needs of the PNW climate and casual clothing culture, all while still being interesting and ready for adventure. My only complaint is that they dont offer more womens styles or sizes! Maybe more Free-Woman in the future? ;-) So, I must content myself with the intoxicating scent of the Ursa Major Morning Mojo Bar soap, and buying any and all variety of cozy, beefy, indestructible wool socks. The online shopping experience is incredibly easy, and when I visit the shop I am more than happy to wear a mask inside, to keep everyone safe and healthy. :D

5 /5 Jim MacDonald: The Freeman Store is a must visit for any men in the Seattle area! Their entire, carefully curated line is Made in the USA from their signature rain coat and button down shirts to their denims and wool socks! If you love high pressure sales environments this is NOT the place for you. The ambiance is chill and not pushy. They are happy to give you all kinds of details on every product from where its made to the companies who make it. Its clear they are really excited about everything in their store and you feel like a member of the Freeman family when you walk in. I own a Freeman rain jacket as well as several of their button downs. The quality is better than any other made in USA products that I own, and I own a bunch. Theyve clearly examined every detail of their products and their designs are a clever mix of fashion and function. I can wear one of their shirts to a boardroom or a workshop. Bottom line: Millions of jobs have left this country over the past 20-30 years. If you want to support Made in America products and bring back jobs then check this store out.
