Alexa Velez-Pearson I am a single mom of 6 kids. I was given a voucher for social services to help me get clothes for them. Even though I work 3 jobs I can never take my kids shopping for fun without worrying. This location involved all staff and managers to figure out how to apply the voucher AND made me feel better about using them when I was literally feeling like bawling having to use assistance to give my kids a good time. They were so friendly and kind and everyone made us feel so welcome and were sweet to the kids and I’m crying now with graciousness that there are good kind people in the world that don’t view me as a lepper for needing help.

Doug Simpson Bellis Fair Mall in Bellingham is a wonderful indoor mall that is really quite large. Six large retail stores are the anchor stores at the ends of the "spokes" of the mall layout are great stores unto themselves. These are Target, Dicks Sporting Goods, Ashley Furniture, Macys, J C Penny, and Kohls. On the aisles of the anchor store spokes are dozens of retailers such as Victorias Secret, Lids, Spencers Gifts, TasTEA Spice & Co., Vans, Famous Footwear, Relax Body Works, Lenscrafters, and Brick Island Lego to name a few. Bellis Fair Mall also has 15 different restaurants and eateries sporting a wide range of foods. There are also numerous vendors populating the middle of the aisles leading to and from the anchor stores. And theres even a mini-golf place to have fun when the days are wet or snowy! The parking lots are huge! Bellis Fair Mall is truly a one stop shopping extravaganza to spend a few hours walking around window shopping and eating in a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend spending time here on a relaxing weekend day.

Kristin Williams Great deals, great staff! Definitely worth getting the app and "clipping" the digital coupons. Crazy good sales and the staff at this location is kind and accommodating, fast and efficient.

Adam Dispenza Bottom line, if youre looking to avoid a long trip to Walmart and save money on gas, the Dollar General is for you. Here are the pros and cons I can immediately see: Pros: - The store is clean and new - There is a fairly comprehensive food area - There is a surprising amount various products that can usually only be found out of town - The price point on most products is quite reasonable Cons: - The food area DOES NOT have produce or a butcher (not as comprehensive as grocery store in town) - The bathroom requires a key, for now. This is odd for Pomeroy - Has a Walmart/chain store feel (not necessarily a negative, but doesnt really have the small town aesthetic) - No pharmacy Heres my hope for the place. I would like to see folks shop here and save money they would have given to the Clarkston Walmart and also save money on fuel. If folks save money, they can patronize the other local businesses where there are gaps in Dollar Generals selection (such as the pharmacy and the grocery store). I wasnt sure what to think of a chain store coming to Pomeroy, but I think it could be an overall positive experience for the community if it helps save people money and keep them shopping locally.
