Belle LaGuardia We’ve visited a lot of vintage/thrift stores on Portland and Vancouver, and Reflexions is on the top of our list. The clothing choices are high quality and “grails” you’d find online. They have popular brands as well like Carhartt. There is a good selection of shoes, belts, and decor as well.

magenta vaughn As a single mom, trying to dress my kid can be disheartening when I walk into children’s shops and see the prices. Moonchild PNW in Olympia was such a joy to shop. The prices are actually reasonable, making it possible for my kiddo to have a cute wardrobe. I essentially bought everything she will wear for an entire year from the store. I’m talking an entire wardrobe of quality brand name clothing from this children’s resale shop. They have clothes for mama too! When we first walked in, we were so excited to see an adorable pair of quality gently used pink hiking boots. My l/o wasn’t wearing socks and Heather, the awesome owner, found some adorable pumpkin colored socks for her to try the shoes on. I’m glad we held out and avoided buying my daughter new shoes because these are in perfect condition & half the price of vans. The condition of her selection was way better than other resale shops I’ve been to. I feel like you could walk in here with zero sense of style and when you walk out, will look like a fashionista. We visit lots of these stores when we travel as a way to spend money on practical items instead of unnecessary purchases. Her curation of clothing is the best I’ve seen on the West Coast & central United States. You can tell she is passionate about her small business. We need more independent-women-owned businesses like this one.

Carter Timm I brought in a pair of shoes I’d had for about 7 months that were starting to show some wear, and the rubber pad on the bottom had begun to peel off. Almost as soon as I walked into the store, John came over and helped me with the return and got me set up with a swap since I wanted a very similar pair (they just charge or credit the difference between the old and new pair, which in my case ended up being the same price). He clearly knew what he was doing and made the whole process quick and easy. The entire exchange took about 10 minutes. John’s great customer service and Nordstrom’s excellent return policy made this a really positive experience.
