Crossroads Trading - (Near Santa Cruz, CA)

1 /5 Callie: I had to sign in twice at the front and wait in my car when there was no line. Then, the person told me they could not buy any of my clothes (over 5 bags full) because they were “mostly fast fashion.” This was very confusing as I had a mixture of many other items, including stuff from Patagonia, Loft, Ann Taylor, Tentree, Levi’s, Boden, etc. I had a feeling that the service rep did not even look through most of the stuff. I also thought it was very strange to see so many Free People items in the store, as Free People is a KNOWN fast fashion brand. Well, I went to Forever Thrift and they bought almost everything for 5% more than Crossroads would have paid anyway. It would be in the store’s best interest to be more educated and thorough!

1 /5 Meemstas 98’: So I heard they have a new policy of denying and profiling who they may deem a reseller, wouldn’t that backfire when at least 50% of your inventory is from resellers? You can’t have your cake and eat it too. I’ll be sticking with freestyle and selling there for now on unless there’s a policy change in the future. Good doing business with yall while it lasted✌️

1 /5 Gwyneth: horrible experience here. drove over an hour to sell my clothes and after waiting 30 minutes, the buyer treated them like i dug them out of a dumpster to sell to them, and talked down to me. She rejected them either due to ‘not taking fast fashion’ or ‘not in a condition to sell’. They are all washed, and some new with tags. I’ve never had this problem with Crossroads before, but I will not be coming back.

1 /5 Shannon Glasheen: The buyers here seem to be having the worst day of their life and want to take it out on your for walking in, every time I’ve gone in here. Never again shopping here

5 /5 Chris Greer: This location has some amazing finds. Unsure if it is the area but the quality here is up there in comparison to the other locations. Parking is easy and employees are friendly.
