1 /5 Stefany Vega: I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED AT DDS DISCOUNTS! I AM A REGULAR CUSTOMER AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISRESPECTED THE WAY I WAS TODAY. AFTER SHOPPING AND SPENDING MY HARD-EARNED MONEY IN THE STORE, I WALKED OUT TO WAIT FOR MY UBER RIGHT IN FRONT, AS I ALWAYS DO. I WAS WITH MY FAMILY, MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, NOT CAUSING ANY TROUBLE.
SUDDENLY, A WOMAN WHO WORKS AT THE REGISTER — WHO PURPOSEFULLY HAD HER NAME BADGE HIDDEN SO NOBODY COULD IDENTIFY HER — STARTED SCREAMING AT ME TO “MOVE AWAY FROM THE STORE.” THIS EMPLOYEE IS ABOUT 5’8”, LIGHT-SKINNED, WITH FRECKLES, AND APPROXIMATELY 280 LBS. SHE YELLED AT ME MULTIPLE TIMES FOR NO REASON AT ALL! I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WAS TARGETING ME WHEN I HAD JUST BEEN A PAYING CUSTOMER.
TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, SHE THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME JUST FOR STANDING OUTSIDE WAITING FOR A RIDE. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THIS WAS HUMILIATING AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
OTHER PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE STORE WITNESSED THIS ENTIRE INCIDENT AND WERE SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED BY HER BEHAVIOR. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS — OR ANYONE, FOR THAT MATTER.
THIS EMPLOYEE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY. IF DDS KEEPS EMPLOYEES LIKE THIS, YOU’RE GOING TO KEEP LOSING CUSTOMERS. I WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE EVER RETURNING, AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.
