1 /5 Bamboo: My last visit in was my final straw after ive had problems with this buisness over and over. I saw a pair of boots at $245 and asked why they were so expensive. The staff member said, “I guess they’re vintage and handmade in Spain.” I got them, I was excited that theyd maintained such good condition, and I wanted to know more, so I checked the designer’s archives. That’s when I started having doubts. I contacted the designer directly, and they confirmed the boots arent vintage and were made in 2021. They were just used, thats all.. And in the used market, these boots regularly sell for about $100 less than what I paid. I never would’ve bought them if I’d known the truth about their age. Vintage pieces from this designer are rare and worth much more, so I thought I was paying for something totally different.
I also bought a jacket (which I think actually is vintage), only to realize later that it’s damaged. the fur lining is coming apart. This happened to me here several times before, buying pieces that turn out to be damaged. I let it slide in the past, but misrepresenting expensive items as vintage really made me realize there’s no quality control or genuine care for customers here.
