However, if you enjoy getting high-quality gear for a steal, you will find yourself right at home among the masses. The store was packed to the rafters, yet the checkout line moved with a surprising level of efficiency that defied the laws of physics. It was a crowded, bustling environment that rewarded those with a bit of patience and a keen eye for a hidden gem. I walked out with a full bag and my dignity mostly intact, which is really all one can ask for when prices are dropped this low.

Bryan Edwards I was gifted an incredible American Hat Co. 10X cowboy hat by a great friend — and that started a pretty special experience. I was recommended to Manny, the hat shaper and hat artist at Arctic Hats in Salinas (El Primo — one of their family’s four stores). Manny has that old-school craftsmanship and creative touch that’s getting harder and harder to find. He shaped another hat for me last week and we immediately hit it off. Cowboy hats are personal — they tell a story about the person wearing them, the same way a good tailor or barber understands their client. Manny gets that. This week he reshaped six of my hats. Then I bought a steel grey American Hat Co. 10X from him under one condition:
“Do you. Do your damnedest.” After talking hats (and life) for a couple hours, I stepped out to take Senta! for a quick potty break — complete trust. When I came back, the hat was finished… and perfect. I had nothing to suggest, nothing to change — just respect and a thank you. I may have to go back to work just to afford more of Manny’s shaping. We’ve already picked out a few vintage projects vintage hats I have… and I’m pretty sure I’ll be buying more hats. Some craftsmanship you don’t just buy — you experience it.

Samantha Keh My family has been shopping at St. John for generations, and I had my first outfit in classic pink from their Sports collection in high school. Their suits have been my default work clothes. The company has been providing beautiful design, quality products, and excellent services. When the physical store was closed during pandemic, they would make house calls and host online events showcasing the latest design. Both their local and corporate tailors are experts in alterations and repairs. Katherine is an experienced stylist based in the San Francisco, and the go to person for the ladies in my family. She is also a well known figure by stylists from other luxury stores. I often get great compliments from others when I am in a St. John outfit. If you are looking for classy and stylish design, you can’t go wrong with their clothes.

Mark Evening is the perfect time to stroll around this shopping district. The Christmas atmosphere is wonderful. Taking photos and riding the miniature train will also be a lot of fun. This area is very safe. Even the toothpaste and toothbrush dispensers in the supermarket arent locked. You can find all the brand stores you want at Macys. First time visiting Los Angeles, this shopping district is highly recommended by tourists.
