4 /5 Lillian: Mama Madrone’s Eco-Emporium is on Broad Street in historic Nevada City, CA. They offer organic and sustainable clothing for the whole family. I was totally enamored with the line of baby clothes. Quality, organic cotton clothes in modern fun patterns versatile for both genders. Also there were these little adorable plushies, created from women cooperatives in economic depressed economies, that were just the cutest. They also sell fair trade gifts and accessories, eco home goods, and crafted items from local artisans.

5 /5 Stephanie: Mama madrones is my go to when I’m looking for a unique and thoughtful gift. They have amazing collections of jewelry, cards, candles, housewares, eco friendly clothing and bedding. Every time I go in there there’s something new. I’ve collected so many treasures over the years! I always make a point to stop in when I’m in Nevada City. Definitely one of my favorite shops in town!
