5 /5 John Ruiz: My wife has been bringing clothes here for a long time. I like that it is less expensive to mark the hems yourself and then have them do the work, however... I prefer to have them do the work and it is still a whole lot less than Ive seen at other places. They serve with a smile and genuinely seem to care about your experience.

1 /5 K L: I’ll start by saying the young girls who work at the fitting area are super kind and efficient. They originally helped me with my alterations. I left about $250 worth of alterations with a very generous time frame of outfits I need for a trip. Today i had the worst experience with the older Asian lady with glasses. I came to pick up my stuff and I tried things on just to make sure they fit right. 2 items were forgotten to be done and one bikini bottom was altered so poorly it was hanging off my body exposing parts instead of laying flat. I brought it to her attention and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting in a hot stuff room in my underwear for her to fit me and fix items that took less than a couple seconds for them to repair. I understand they should help others between helping me but this lady helped about 20 other people while I sat waiting. I exited the room at the 20 minute mark, 45 minute mark and 1 hour to remind her I’ve been waiting a very long time and asked if someone can assist me. She said no body can help it’s only her. I heard other people complaining asking if she’s the only person available to help cause she was soooo slow at her job and focusing on the line at the window while neglecting the people standing around inside the fitting rooms. All in all I am a paying customer also. I left generous ample time to complete my alterations. I had 3 super quick and easy fixes that total took 5-8 minutes to fix all 3. But she did not fit me for almost an hour!!!! On top of that she was arguing the repair cannot be done but it ended up being such a quick and easy fix but taking in the bottom of the bikini instead. I found her rude. I sat for 1 hour 45 mins in a hot room and was brushed off everytime I asked for help. That service is completely unreasonable. If there was time to serve 20 other people she could have taken 5 minutes to prevent me from waiting almost 2 hours for her to finishing helping EVERYONE ELSE FIRST. Super upset about the entire experience and how I was treated. I’ve included a photo of the repair that took forever to get fitted for and she even tried to make me come back for it when my flight was tomorrow. I insisted I won’t come back again cause I’ve been here over an hour and a half and that I was going to wait for the fix not going out my way to come back. And it was finished in a couple of minutes. Pathetic service. I paid $25 for this alteration by the way to sew up the bottom of a bikini.

5 /5 Marisha Limon: So happy my Auntie recommended me to Original Hems. Elizabeth who helps in the front was very kind and helped me set up an appointment with Shauna. I needed my wedding dress altered. She helped make the chest part of my dress tighter (since I have a smaller chest) and closed up a little bit of my slit that went down my dress. She made my dress fit to perfection! My wedding dress is very simple, from Lulus. No beads or details that made the alterations hard. Its pure silk or polyester I think. But over all very good job Shauna! Ill be back again if I need more closed fixed. Total was under $100!

5 /5 Wendy: Ive taken two pairs of pants here to be hemmed. Both have extremely wide legs and they did a beautiful job. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
