4 /5 Ahmad Khalaf: Westfield Oakridge is my go-to mall in South San Jose for a relaxed shopping day. The place is massive—with tons of stores like Macys, Target, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, Apple, and plenty of others spread out over a huge area. Its easy to spend hours wandering without feeling cramped, and theres ample parking (including a garage) which is a big plus compared to busier spots like Valley Fair.
What really stands out is how clean everything is. The common areas, hallways, and restrooms are consistently spotless, with bright lighting and a modern feel that makes it pleasant to shop or just walk around. Its well-maintained and feels inviting.
The food court is convenient (right near the entrance with the movie theater), but the cuisine choices are a bit limited—mostly standard fast food like Asian options (Sarku Japan, Panda Express), burgers, tacos, and quick bites. If youre craving something more diverse or unique, you might want to eat elsewhere nearby, like the Cheesecake Factory outside or other restaurants around the mall.
Overall, great for shopping and a chill atmosphere. 4 stars—would recommend for locals!
