Zumiez - (Near Huntington Beach, CA)

5 /5 elderly poodle: I went in for some last-minute Christmas shopping. I struck up a conversation with the gentleman behind the counter. What a nice upbeat guy! I told him my son works at Zumiez in another state. I love to find a shop with sincere customer service. I was helped to find what I needed and enjoyed my shopping with a good vibe. A kind person behind the counter is worth everything to me as far as coming back another time.

5 /5 Robert Sage: I needed some bearings for my board and the guy behind the counter was super helpful. Installed the bearings for me so I could get back to skating. He also tightened up my trucks for me while I was there. Im building another board soon and will be back there. They were super cool, and took their time with me. Outstanding customer service.

1 /5 Sully Bradshaw: Went in to this zumiez on Thursday because my girlfriend had a gift card. The brunette girl that was working there was really awful. I didnt catch her name. I tried on 4 shirts in the dressing room and she waited right outside the door while I did. When I came out with the two shirts that I wanted to buy she immediately grabbed them from my hands and said "Wheres the rest of them?" In a very accusing tone. I said "uhhh, in the dressing room?" And then I pointed at the two she had snatched away from me and told her those were the two I wanted to buy. She said "well then you wont mind if I hold them up front for you." We ended up spending 100$ at this zumiez but honestly wont be going back anytime soon. My girlfriend said she got the same judgemental treatment from this girl acting like we were stealing something. Awful experience if I could give zero stars I would. Maybe it was the way we were dressed maybe it was because we are a lesbian couple, who knows.
