2 /5 Stan Furlong: My wife was searching to find her "next favorite jeans". We were unaware if Madewell jeans, but when visiting the store, we were impressed with variety of types/styles/fit. We took our time and she tried on many options. After many attempts, she was unable to find what she was looking for and decided to try another day. If that was the end of the story, there would be no headlines. But, It was then I went to the manager and asked if it was their policy to not only ignor, but actively avoid assisting customers that were obviously there for approx. 30 minutes. The manager fell over herself apologizing, and offering assistance and future discounts. At the prices they are asking, no retailer can expect customers to accept this level of service.
