1 /5 Alexia Armbrister: Each time I go into the Boca location the staff have an unfriendly demeanor. There was even an instance in which my friend and I were followed around the store last year, which was so surreal to experience as black women.
I chalked up the racial profiling to being a one off with those specific staff members so I didnt write the store off completely. After a few more visits and experiencing bad attitudes, I would say that the staff definitely need some additional customer service training. Ive noticed this poor customer service with all the staff members so it appears that an unfriendly attitude is a prerequisite to get the job! I went to this location last week and I felt so uncomfortable with how unfriendly the staff was. Mind you, I greeted them, I smiled, I spoke to lighten the energy.....and still received nothing but straight faces, unfriendly demeanor, and no eye contact.
I will be posting any further instances of poor customer service and racial profiling on all public platforms moving forward.
