1 /5 Barbara Romstad: Bought a clothing item on sale and did not realize until I got home that it was wool - my bad; Im allergic. Less than 6 business hours later I brought the item back and kindly asked if I could exchange it for another shirt I had tried on. Absolutely not...sales lady was apologetic but unbudging...sale item purchases are final. Wish I had been told that when I purchased the item but the receipt clearly states it. Just thought it wouldnt make a big difference since the item I wanted to exchange would have resold very quickly. I rarely ask to be the exception to a policy but my personal business interactions and also being a mom have taught me not to say no unless it matters. This would not have mattered to the stores profitability.
