T.J. Maxx - (Near Panama City, FL)

1 /5 elizabeth Gainous: Very rude employees in the dressing room area. I had 2 very bad experiences. One the employee demanded that I hang up the clothes I tried on. I thought that was her job…today I went in the dressing room to try a couple things on and there was no attendant and when I came out I was yelled at by an employee that the dressing room was closed but there was no sign that it was closed. How should I know this and then another employee yelled at me across the store that the dressing room was closed for a reason. I told her someone else had already let me know and she just said WELL!!! I find this very unprofessional and not customer friendly at all. I owned a clothing store for 24yrs and would have never treated a paying customer like that. The management should explain that the customers are the reason they have a job and to be understanding and kind to them, not attack.

1 /5 Heather Holley Pippin: I was in last night (23rd Street PC). I left my wallet in the buggy and walked to the cell phone area just a few feet away. When I realized I had left my wallet I ran back over to the cart and it wasnt there. I went to the counter and the clerk was busy and when I asked if anyone had returned a wallet she said no. While waiting on her I kept looking around and say the man that ended up being the manager over near the buggys straightening up. I left my things in the cart and told her I was going to run outside and make sure I didnt leave it in the car and forgot. It wasnt so when I went back in still not much concern. I went to leave and realized needed to leave my number, again not really worried with it I left it with her anyway. I called a friend and she told me I needed to call the cops and ask to see the footage on the cameras. Once we got back in the store the office asked to speak to the manager. When he asked the manager to see the footage he told the office that TJ Maxx policy was to file a report and they would review it and see if they thought it was necessary to show the footage. Both the office and I were shocked up upset that this was a policy of TJ Maxx. He asked if I wanted to file a report and I said yes. He gave me the claim number and told me he would be in touch. Extremely helpful officer. Maybe 10 minutes later the manager calls me and tell me that someone found my wallet in the buggy. (Please note that had this been the case they would have report it when they first grabbed the buggy it was white and in the front where a child would sit.) When I got there to pick it up he goes on to tell me how honest people can be and how fortunate I was for someone to find it. While walking away he tells me that it was found in an abandoned buggy in the back ............. he told me on the phone someone had turned it in. Nothing was missing and Im thankful I got it back but had I not filed the report would I have ever seen my wallet????? I dont think so. You never know what someone is going through and had these people thought about that maybe they would have been more helpful. Less than two weeks ago my husband was in a car wreck and broke both of his lefts. I had just left Encompass Rehab visiting him when I stopped because I enjoy shopping here. Had they thought to ask or be polite they would have know that my husband will be out of work for 6-8 months yet someone wanted to take my wallet. The moral of the story always file the police report. And I will be contacting the corporate office and asking what their policy is on stolen items in their story. Very disappointed in this PC store and will not be back.
