Grace Smith For the location, I am pleasantly surprised, IYKYK. They have a large selection of books in all genres and I found a small selection of books that interest ME. I also see that they sell books for the actual price without markup. I wanted to Autobiography of Malcolm X, on the book it is 9.99, in the store it was 9.99 but on Amazon and other online stores it is 17.98 and up. They also have a large selection on $1 dollar books that was very interesting. The upstairs has a cute little section for children, they can sit and read or play a little while you shop around. I would visit here again.

Danielle Coppock I think these ladies that work/ own this store are absolutely WONDERFUL and I honestly can not thank them all enough for being some of the sweetest, kind ladies I have ever met and always being willing to help in any way they can!! They always welcome myself/husband and even my sweet 11 yr old doodle everytime we go, everyone there has very sweet spirits, and the store is always very very clean, I have been a few times and have never been treated unkindly at all in any way and I was recently there for their anniversary sale and honestly I was still bragging on them late into my night that same day I would definitely definitely recommend anyone to shop here and i hope that they are there for many more years to come!! I have tons of health issues and alot of days aren’t the best of days for me but there is one thing about it you’ll always find a smile and sweetness when you go here, thank you so much ladies of this general store I really appreciate all that you do and all of your hard work!! Elizabeth Dickson-Gavney I had the BEST experience at Community in Athens. I was visiting town and needed a dress for a costume party, and Community was listed as one of the top vintage shops in Athens—so I started there first. I’m so glad I did. Caroline, Hayley, and Tiffany were AMAZING. I shared my costume idea and they immediately jumped in with enthusiasm, creativity, and the kind of “we’ve got you” energy you hope for but don’t always find — like having stylish fairy godmothers in real life. I found a gorgeous vintage 1960s dress that matched the theme perfectly, but it needed alterations, and Hayley worked absolute magic in *less than two days*. She added sleeves, the sweetest buttons, and a pink sash that pulled the whole look together. It was beyond what I even imagined. And Tiffany went above and beyond: I stopped by on my way to the party so she could tie the sash into a perfect bow, and they were so accommodating and kind about it. They also gave me great recommendations for where to find jewelry and shoes to finish the outfit, which made the whole experience feel truly personal and fun. Community has officially won a customer for life—this will be a must-stop for me every time I’m in Athens.
