DG Market - (Near Adel, GA)

5 /5 Ken: A reasonable selection of typical everyday needs. Think of it as a small version of a Walmart Market Place. They may not have all the different brands of everything like a bigger store, but they will have enough variety to meet most people’s needs.

1 /5 Michelle: On May 31, 2024.. my daughter and I visited this Dollar General Market in Adel, Ga where my daughter which 17 years old was faced with racial profiling. My daughter asked one of the clerks if they were hiring ( in which their was a hiring sign on the window as you enter) and the clerk stated to her( in the way of trying to get her words together for answering her) to say “Uumm I don’t know if we’re hiring” but yet theirs a sign in the window stating that you were..my daughter asked her why was their a sign in the window saying they were hiring..the clerk stated “out of disbelief and caught off guard that my daughter asked her that” and the clerk stated “oh those signs are just put up in all the Dollar General Stores. To me that made no sense because it was just the way she said it. I felt and my daughter felt racially profiled due the fact me daughter has dread locs in her hair. I never thought I would experience anything like this in this town better yet a store that is pretty new to my city. It’s bad enough a person has to be watched and stood over almost when checking out at the self checkout registers. I will never go to that store again and I will definitely let others know of how my daughter was treated in this store when there focus should be on the ones who checkout there items and than go back within the store with there checked out bags and wonder around and then leave without being monitored while walking around after checkout with their store bags.

5 /5 The Wolf of Valhalla: This store is really nice. They have a wide selection compared to regular DGs. The aisles are nice and wide with plenty of room. They have quite the grocery and produce selection as well

1 /5 Productivity Solutions: Unable to get any assistance in this store because the Manager and/or employee too busy sitting on the floor in front of the store taking their cigarette break!!
