Gabrielle Gilbert Went recently this month June 2024. From what I remember in 2018 it wasnt very busy back then either since many stores closed due to online shopping being the norm now. It was pretty quiet, seemed like there were less stores since some have had bankruptcies. I actually went to see if the was really cheap stuff for sale at rue 21 but it was already cleared out. There was still some nice stores there. I found some great quality shirts on clearance and they still have a food court. Bathrooms were clean. It was tidy throughout the mall.

Donna Bollenbach If you are in Ellijay or the surrounding area, you should take the time to visit this great thrift store in Blue Ridge that benefits the area Humane Society. I have never seen a thrift store like it. It is very well organized and everything is staged like little antique shop booths. The locals call it "Macys of Blue Ridge" because many of their donations are from generous affluent residents of the area. I noticed a number of reviewers complain about the prices, but I found most items in line with other chain thrift stores. Some of the furniture and high-end items may seem high priced, but they are high-quality, well designed pieces that are well worth the asking price. I could completely furnish a mountain home (if I had one) with furniture purchased there. For the rest of us, quality, name brand clothing can be found for 3 to 5 dollars, and somewhat more for the top of the line clothes. Small household items, crafts, books, and other typical thrift store items are also priced competitively. And they do have sales. When I went, everything was 10% off. I think it is like any thrift store, you need to go often to get the best deals. The all volunteer staff are very friendly and sales benefit a great cause. I purchased a few clothing items and household gadgets for the RV, and Bob found a high quality sharp knife. if this review and photos were helpful, please click on the like button.

Kylee Stone I saw Alexis for a hair trim and style. The business made scheduling an appointment online super easy, and they recommended Alexis because my hair is short. She took her time and made me feel confident with the hairstyle she was planning to give me. My hair is very short, and I was worried that I’d lose too much length since I’m growing it out. She trimmed my hair, but managed to keep my hair as long as possible. She also taught me how to style my wavy hair with a diffuser, which I hadn’t been able to figure out since cutting my hair off. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff was very fun and welcoming.

Wilma Daniel Just want to give a shoutout to the Great employees of Cherokee Closouts. Caroline, Rachael, Tracy and Glen just to name a few. They are always ready to help and answer any questions their customers have. This store has some really great deals.

Thomas Hagan While we were staying in Helen, we took the beautiful mountain drive up to Hiawassee, and what a gem we found in Creekside General Store! We originally stopped in just on a whim, but the experience turned out to be fantastic. The ladies working there were just the nicest people you could hope to meet—they truly made us feel right at home, like we were family browsing their wonderful collection. We ended up picking up several great souvenirs, but the real highlight was finding a beautiful, handcrafted knife by the local knifemaker, Blane Berryman. If you’re ever in the area, or even if you have to take the scenic route like we did, Creekside General Store is well worth the stop for unique items and that wonderful, welcoming North Georgia hospitality.
