Gabriela Schönwetter I’m very disappointed with my experience at Blue Ridge Mountain Outfitters. I purchased a pair of hiking boots and once I got home, I noticed a clear defect. I drove over an hour the very next day to return them, expecting a straightforward exchange or refund for a defective product.
Instead, I was only offered store credit. There wasn’t even another pair available to replace the boots I originally wanted. I would have preferred the boots I chose in the first place, but that wasn’t an option.
For a defective item, store credit is not an acceptable resolution. This experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and disappointing. I expected better customer service and accountability.
