1 /5 Jasmin Steele: Ive been meaning to leave a review for a while now. This review is based on a single terrible impression that the store manager Nicole left. After all, a store is only as good as the person running it. I went to Carters over the Summer in 2018. My reason for going to the store was for an interview. Prior to going in, I looked up the dress code, which was typical business casual. Imagine my surprise when Nicole walked out in a sleeveless dress and flip flops! Nicole was advised that I was there waiting and instead of introducing herself or acknowledging my existence, she came out from the back and proceeded to talk to the other employees for a while with her back turned to me. After a few awkward minutes, she turned around and only said, "Are you ready?" Never introduced herself or addressed me by name. We went to the back and it was a mostly typical interview aside from the fact that Nicole didnt even understand the questions she was asking me. She also paused mid-interview to ask an employee walking by what they were doing with an accusing undertone... But heres something that really got to me... She complained to me about people bringing their children into the store! She told me how annoying it was to have parents bring their whiny children in to shop... She said whenever they came in she just wished theyd leave... Like do you know where you work? She was just all-around an extremely unprofessional and rude person to talk to. What a cringe-worthy experience.
