Caitriona Tobin Kate and Outskirts Vintage is the best!
When we were looking for someone to get our a flower girl dress hemmed for our toddler (who couldnt stand independently at the time), a local Facebook group recommended Kate and her lovely store.
10/10.
Not only did she do an amazing job on the dress (which had some lace that needed to be taken in as well as a tulle bottom), but she was so sweet. She popped our girl right up on the counter, was so warm that we had no resisting, and just overall so patient. She chatted with both us and our little girl and it was such a fun experience for something we were a bit nervous for. At some point she described herself as the seamstress version of a bartender...likes to get to know her customers!
After that, she also did an INCREDIBLE job sewing me four dresses in fun fabrics. She even talked me through which fabrics would be the best ones to get. AND added pockets.
Her store has so many beautiful and fun vintage pieces. If you love having a bit of flair and color in your wardrobe, I absolutely recommend heading over and taking a look!
