2 /5 KJ Soleil: I havent shopped inside the store for 7 years. Thats about the time their prices increased - on the heels of Bergners and Macys (Kohls closest local competition) shuttering. Kohls in-store customer service was always bad- especially the long waits at the return line (singular).
I was just reminded today how much Kohls corporate holds its customers in contempt.
I found the best online price on just the style and size snow boots we needed for the grandkids, flying in from the tropics for Christmas... at - Kohls.com. Ordered them December 1 for the kids December 21st arrival.
The boots shipped within a few days but somehow are now disappeared at the East Peoria UPS hub.
Now... only the shipper can inquire with UPS. I finally found access to the Kohls chatbot, and FINALLY got transferred to a (sort of) live agent. Who clearly didnt speak English and just entered canned replies from their script. "Nothing they can do. Nope... cant ship replacements.... Im just a CSA, I cant authorize... Try again tomorrow"... Whaaaaaa?????
So,
Not only am I out $65, but cant find anything locally to replace the disappeared boots.
I absolutely have shopped my last at Kohls.
