Helen Shih My review is going to be a bit unusual, but I was walking through Rogers Park when I was suddenly followed by a man, about 20-30 years old, wearing a black puffy jacket, black hat, and red pants. I couldn’t see his face clearly but I think he was either Mexican or black (or mixed) as he tried to speak English and Spanish to me. He and I walked past each other and when I turned my head to look behind me he followed me. He followed me for about 2 blocks before I decided to duck in to AMA’s boutique, where it was well lit and clean.
I talked to the store owner and her daughter and explained my situation and they very kindly let me stay in the store and call a Lyft to avoid the man following me. They were very nice and I would’ve loved to buy something in the store but my Lyft came very quickly.
Super grateful for AMA’s store owner and daughter for their kindness!!! I’ll be back on a sunny day in the near future to express my gratitude!!
