1 /5 Aiden Meagher: I came here a month ago because my friend died and I needed a suit for her funeral and I saw good reviews so I wasn’t worried.
As soon as I walked in the store there was a guy and girl working there they acted like my presence annoyed them. I walked up to them for help because that is like the whole reason why they are here and I asked the girl for help, she walked to the back afterwards and proceeded not to help, and the guy asked if I needed help.
To which I thought she was helping, and he said no I’ll help you. (She stayed in the back almost the entire time) Throughout the process of measuring me I mentioned I going to the funeral of a friend and I needed the suit. He took my measurements and proceeded to get every part of my suit wrong.
he got me a 42 pants, I told him I was a 34 and he rolled his eyes. He got me a 18 shirt and I noticed it was really loose, to which I asked if he had any slimmer shirts, he said no, that’s just what they have “ because we go by collar size”. I was frustrated at this point because he next gets my jacket wrong, AFTER HE ALREADY MEASURED ME. They he got frustrated after I said if he had a smaller size.
I kept trying to be nice but it started to get to me because —my friend like died last week.
When we got to the register my card declined because we got new versions of the card so I said can you type it in like most other places can. The guy called the girl, who mind you was still in the back from when I asked her for help, if they could type it in while on the phone with my mom. She looked at me and with the most (I’m trying to describe it without swearing) judgemental and mean girl look “uh…no”.
I am literally almost crying at this point because no only and I rushing for a suit for the funeral that’s within the week, I’m trying to buy a suit and they are judging me for something I have no control of. They looked at me like I was actively stealing from them. I wish I returned that suit cause of the disrespect shown to me but I needed it. AND THEY GET COMMISSION FOR MY SUIT.
If I could I would rate this shop 0 stars. I have never been treated more terrible anywhere else. I am glad people are having good experiences and didn’t have to experience this but do better. I get you can have long days and be frustrated, but it doesn’t give you the right to treat your customers like crap. I am still frustrated about this and it’s March, this happened like February or January.
Another thing I said was oh I can my suit tailored after like for free cause it’s like an 700$ suit, “Oh no that’s not included with the suit, you got to pay extra”
