Nice clean clothes, shoes, household decor items, jewelry, books etc. Shop and donate your items here to keep your money in Mt Vernon! They are super friendly and support our local charities and help those in need. I will add that they have recently moved to a new location a little north of town off of Route 37. They are now located inside the Painted Cowgirl Market at 18088 N Old Salem Rd, Mt Vernon. Bring a friend and spend a few hours checking out all interesting finds. Im sure you will find something to take home too!

Emilio Barrios We were in Gelena celebrating our anniversary. We were greeted immediately by a very welcoming and standup gentleman (whom I assume is the owner). He talked about the beautiful candles he created to support his daughter. We chatted for a couple of minutes about our lives and he was saying we looked like a “young rich couple” and complimented us, recommending nearby accommodations (Let’s just say we left with a lot of candles and soaps)! I applaud this man and my girlfriend and I felt the kindness in his heart. A beautiful store that sells beautiful products 10/10. God bless

Linda Sherm I enjoy shopping at Serendipity. The store staff is friendly. They price name brand clothing gently used at reasonable prices. Sometimes the clothing is new with tags, but priced lower than you would find in other stores. They have the cutest & most awesome things for holidays. Reasonably priced kitchen goods as well as linens all for that special “ home touch”. If you’re looking for jewelry they have a lot to choose from at reasonable prices. There is stylish lamps and furniture. There is just all kinds of “wonderful things” to buy at reasonable prices. This store donates back to the community , a portion of what they receive. David Carlson They are very good on overall value. Amazing customer service and they throw out some good stuff for the local dumpster divers. For the dumpster diving type, I suggest waiting until roughly midnight before going in the dumpsters. And stay out of the donation bins.
