5 /5 Joyful Alize: I was able to trade in a few books that I didnt want or need anymore and received a discount on books that I wanted. I am happy that I received the books I wanted without having to order them or drive farther to get them. I would say fair trade and a fair price on the used books I bought. Will recommend this store to others. Will go back and remember the store the next time I need or want to buy books. Lots of local Southern Illinois books too! Very nice! I recommend.

5 /5 Breanna Abner: Sweet little used bookstore with sweet little ladies working there. Honestly, Id just to talk to them. The selection is reasonably priced depending on the wear of the books and their publications. They also do trading for store credit. Ill definitely be back in to support the small business!

Josie reached out to her colleagues and the Library system, also searching resources on the Internet I did not know existed. Josie offered helpful recommendations about ways I could continue the hunt and shared with me Information about the books on a prominent shelf that were written by local authors. The Book Emporium turned out to be a very helpful and informative stop on my very short list of used bookstores. Owner, Josie, enjoys a challenge, is an excellent sleuth and a delightful resource. I will be visiting her again.
