5 /5 Mickey Nguyen: This is hands down my favorite thrift store (which says a lot, considering I moved from a big city and thrift regularly). I almost never leave without finding something great. The clothes are high quality and the prices are unbeatable. The volunteers here are always so kind and lovely.
Some people complain about the clip system used to limit shoppers, especially now that COVID restrictions have eased. But honestly, businesses can set whatever rules they choose—just like you wouldnt complain about waiting for a table at a crowded restaurant, a thrift store is no different.
In fact, it’s a thoughtful way to ensure the store doesn’t get overcrowded. It’s a small space, and without this system, it would get way too packed, making it uncomfortable for everyone. Nobody likes shopping when its cramped, especially in a cozy, local shop like this.
If you’re asked to wait, it’s really not a big deal. I’ve never waited more than 10-15 minutes, and it’s totally worth it. Plus, the staff are all volunteers, so showing a little patience and kindness goes a long way.
