Kohls - (Near CANTON, MI)

1 /5 John W: Something about this place feels weird. I went here to make an Amazon return, it took a very long time, service people seemed very stressed out and sort of rude. it also was not busy at all so not sure why they take so long. They were a bit upset that the return was not in original shipping material but Amazon said it was not necessary for the return. My experience at Whole Foods has always been much better and I would prefer not to have to go to Kohls at all. I walked around and it seems like everything is on sale but I noticed the price for a new pair of on sale Chuck Taylors (which I am looking for) was the same full retail price as anywhere else. I wish them luck but not convinced this is a great place to shop, sorry.

1 /5 Alyx Elliott: Went to process an exchange for 2 pairs of slippers we ordered online. my daughter and my husbands. My daughters was too small and my husbands arrived damaged. I asked the store to process an exchange and they processed it as damaged returns and said that we couldnt get an exchange because they were worn. NEITHER were worn. My husbands arrived torn and broken, and my daughters was too SMALL, she couldnt wear them. But they gave me stank attitude when I pointed this out, and told me to go select our slippers. We got the same exact slippers, just one size bigger for my daughter, and not broken for my husband. When I got back to the returns, they told us they would be like $30? And I was confused because those two pairs didnt cost that much to begin with!! And I asked about that, and the lady rolls her eyes and tells me shes gonna get her manager "so SHE can explain it to you" - crazy work for the holidays... I mentioned that they were supposed to be for exchange and she goes "You cant EXCHANGE them because what you brought back was WORN!" We had just had them delivered less than 24 hr prior.. They could see that, I told them that. They didnt care. They were rude, dismissive, and condescending. Finally the associate goes, "Are you going to pay... or not?" VERY rude, right in front of my daughter. I decided to just buy different slippers since they were charging us double anyway.... And I will NEVER SHOP WITH KOHLS AGAIN!!!! That was the rudest Ive ever been treated at a big store like that, it was like we were in the Twilight Zone!! Absolutely flabbergasted. Over slippers!!!!! SMH And I never got my refund either. Im going to be contacting the bank about this one

5 /5 Raymond Sanchez: The girl in Sephora was an absolute genuine soul. She was professional and helped me get exactly what I wanted. Kohls was super busy during this Holiday season. But everyone was not only festive they were on their game too!! So fast and so easy. Thanks for the shopping experience team Kohl’s and Sephora!!

4 /5 A. Tellez: I shop here when I cant find the sizes I need at the Ann Arbor store. They are similar but I tend to find more sizes here and a better variety of items. I like the Sephora and its easy parking.

1 /5 Sage Recaps: I had a very disappointing experience at Kohl’s when trying to exchange a pair of shoes I purchased through the Kohl’s app. Before going to the store, I selected “Return in Store” in the app, which clearly instructed me to show the barcode provided for the return. When I got to the register, I showed the cashier the barcode from the app and my email receipts. She immediately told me it was “not the right barcode” and refused to scan it. I then showed every receipt email associated with the order, including the order confirmation, shipping email, order number, product image, and the barcode that explicitly says “Scan for in-store return.” Every single time, she responded with “No, that’s not it,” without explaining what was needed or making any effort to help. She kept insisting there was another email but could not tell me what it was or how to find it. Eventually, she said I could exchange the shoes without a receipt, which would mean no receipt for the exchange, no ability to return later, and only receiving whatever the current price is at the time if I needed to return. That was not acceptable, especially since I clearly had proof of purchase directly from the Kohl’s app. The interaction felt dismissive, accusatory, and extremely unprofessional. I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong despite having all valid documentation. The way she spoke to me and looked at me made the situation feel uncomfortable and, honestly, discriminatory. I ended up leaving with the shoes because of how poorly the situation was handled. This was my first experience like this at Kohl’s, and it was disturbing. Either employees need better training on app based returns, or this particular employee needs retraining on customer service and professionalism. No customer should be treated this way when following the company’s own return instructions.
