Laurel Park Place - (Near Livonia, MI)

4 /5 Vincent Lam: We came to this plaza for the Chinese noodle restaurant and walked around after our lunch. This location was clean with kids playground. There were also a few great brand stores, a great cinema, a large garage and parking lots. But, I felt like this place was dying. There were few cars in the parking lot on Saturday, and one or two food stores open in the food court. Most stores were locked. I don’t know why ppl would not like to come here for fun during the weekend. Hopefully, there will be more new stores and ppl would like to visit this great plaza like before.

5 /5 Ralph Hartsoe: Nice clean mall, plenty of parking. Update 12/2025, still plenty parking, and very clean throughout mall, many stores closed. It is only a Couple weeks before Christmas, and almost no people are in mall, it was a Monday night, but i walked whole place, saw maybe 20 others total. Seems crazy sad, dont know how the stores stay in business.

1 /5 Melissa Stefanovski: While at Laurel Park with my dog, I asked whether it would be possible to take a photo with Santa. A staff member informed me that the designated pet day had already passed but mentioned that it might still be possible if I held my dog and appeared in the photo as well. He provided the paperwork and stated he would need to confirm approval with Santa. I then see Santa look over at me and my dog and shook his head. After checking, the staff member returned and explained that Santa had the final decision and was unable to accommodate the request. The situation was somewhat unclear, as Santa would not have had any physical contact with my dog. I would have been holding her myself during the photo. I understand and respect policies related to allergies or sanitary concerns; however, given that there would have been no contact between Santa and my dog, the decision was unreasonable. We then decided to visit Bass Pro Shop in Auburn Hills instead and had a very positive experience. We received a FREE complimentary full-size photo along with several additional images. The staff was polite, welcoming, and accommodating. Dogs are permitted at any time, and their Santa uses a simple protective cover between himself and the dog during the photo, which is removed afterward. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and well organized. Also, thank you to the staff member at laurel park who genuinely tried to accomate but unfortunately was not able to due to the final decision made by Santa. GO TO bass pro shops instead, won’t regret it! (Their Santa looked way better too)

1 /5 Lady DPO: Von Maur, Bath and Body and Olga’s are it. Eddie Bauer is leaving/gone. All replaced by random, local shops that are full of junk. What was once a great mall full of national retailers is now a morgue.

5 /5 Lydia M: I came here for an autograph event at Pro Sports Zone, the mall was not very crowded on a Saturday, except for the line for the signing. Very clean inside, helpful maps and directories everywhere. Some neat niche stores for things like candy and collectibles, in addition to traditional clothing stores. There is also a movie theater here. Ample parking and even charging stations for electric vehicles.
