First off, extremely friendly and welcoming people who obviously care deeply about the vintage items they carry and also the people who walk through their doors. This is just a small example, but I watched them interact with an older gentleman from the neighborhood who they were on a first name basis with, talked about his family and kids and made sure he was doing alright, let them know they were there for him. Sounds simple right? How often do you see these kind of interactions at any business anymore, let alone a vintage shop? I love that this place is an active part of the community they exist within, a safe place for people to visit and feel welcomed, you know, to actually be treated like human beings and not evaluated solely on how much money they’re about to spend. I just wanted to point out that if nobody else notices stuff like this, it made a strong impression on me, and i was so happy to find an amazing coat that fit my fiancée perfectly so i could support what they’re doing. Now back to the shop itself - amazing curation of clothing and decorative items, great prices, stuff for all budgets. Jan gave us some great recommendations for other places to check out too.
