Kaira Tiegen This is truly a very special place. The thrift store is abundant in housewares, clothing, books, shoes, home decor, antiques, vintage, jewelry, and so much more. With out hesitation, my favorite place in the world to shop. People’s Place has become so much more to me than a really incredible thrift store. Every single person that works or volunteers I hold in the highest regard. You instantly feel the genuine kindness when you enter the doors. It feels like you’re shopping with your best friends. Often, while waiting in line to check out, I’ve noticed the kindness has become contagious. There is chatting and laughter among strangers. Yes the finds are always fantastic, but I can’t even begin to explain how uplifting and happy it makes me feel just to be in the presence of the true goodness all around because of the people who make this place so special. If you live locally and you have never been don’t walk, run and then tell every one of your friends.

Aislinn Schmidt the woman who owns this store is absolutely amazing. she was so extremely helpful in helping me & my partner find the perfect clothes for our halloween costumes. she’s so friendly, kind, and not to mention so funny. & the stuff she has? oh my gosh they are incredible. so many vintage things in great condition too. it’s my new favorite place

Queen Devil My #1 favorite place to shop once a week Im here spending more then I should but always leaving with a bundle. Some what fare prices a few things r priced way to high.. Only down fall is a persons awards points I been shopping here for years spending thousands of dollars and not once have had points to use on my check out order. Workers r amazing ppl luv most them there like family Id put it as.

Robert Ribar For tourists, this is a great place to walk away with a souvenir from your trip upstate. For locals, there are so many treasures from the area. Tom (the friendly and super knowledgeable owner) has tons of vintage items from plates to postcards but if you are looking for something more modern, hes got soap, towels, t-shirts and hand made wooden signs too. Street parking available right on Catskills main street.

Jennifer I love this store I brought great scrubs from here very comfortable great prices, they also have scrubs sold as sets. Some on sale or clearance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is nice and clean and fully stocked all sizes are available here. I havent been here in 9 years but its always the one I go to they do not disappoint.
